The new BF100 model heralds a new era of shape and design of Honda medium sized outboard engines. With a design concept of ‘Premium Compact’, they employ ‘Wedge-shape’ design; highlighting high power, performance and premium quality.

Fit for Purpose
The BF100 is suitable for small RIBs, fishing and leisure boats; but the BF80 is more appropriate for heavier small RIBs, fishing, leisure and displacement craft.

Lightweight and Compact
A best-in-class lightweight and compact design are achieved by a 3-cylinder engine layout, and use of materials such as a lightweight aluminium mounting frame, resin oil strainer and long branch inlet manifold.

Performance with Economy
BF100 employs BLAST™ (air/fuel ratio control and ignition-timing technology), to give improved acceleration. Yet the electronic fuel injection system PGM-FI and lean burn control mode, ECOmo, during cruising achieves best-in-class fuel economy.

Ready to Communicate
The BF100 is the first to be compliant with the NMEA2000 protocol in Honda Marine outboard range. This permits boat users to connect this new motor to an ever increasing wider variety of marine electronic equipment such as chart plotters, fish finders and navigation equipment.
